Sitting breathing In and Out I realize with gratitude My breath is clear Something I took for granted but not now Noticing and looking at feelings Lack of purpose and grounding in my body I realize how much my sense of structure and direction keeps me feeling whole And with eyes open noticing and watching house finches and goldfinches darting colors brightening as spring manifests without making it happen… I wonder for a moment just how it would be if I like the birds allowed myself to just Be Effortless and Free
