Commuter Gathas

Morning Rush Hour
Although the sun is rising high in the sky, and cars and buses rush toward work everywhere. I am not anxious about events of the day. My real work is here, in the present moment.

Evening Rush Hour
Now that the sun is beginning to set, homebound traffic surges toward narrow highways. I walk city streets and breathe in mindfully, already at home in the present moment.
