The retreat felt like a peaceful wind, as a breeze going through my hair. It helped me be calm and let me sing my favorite song, “I Like the Roses.” I liked the part where me, Emily, Gabriel, and Lennis sang to a Sangha. I did drawings and poems with Emily and Lennis.
At the River
Frogs croaking.
Birds singing.
Wind whistling in the leaves.

You and me sit by the river
hear the animals sing.
