Hearing, simultaneously, the crackle of firewood
and the flowing of the millwater I become aware of,
simultaneously, the transience of life and its continuity.

Feeling, in the depths of my being, the vibrations of the bell,
I become aware that the vibration of my smallest
division of atoms is dancing to the music of the universe.

Sensing, in a room of quiet strangers,
a shared existence,
